at CDPHPwtc@newkirk.com.

Click on registration. It’s
as easy as that.
Can I sign up as an individual?
No. The CDPHP Workforce Team Challenge is a team event, and at least four
workers form a team. Recruit a team! Teams are composed of four men, four
women, or two of each.
My company is interested in becoming
a sponsor. How can we make that happen?
Click on sponsorship and find out
all the details. If you have any questions, send an email with the word
“sponsorship” in the subject line to CDPHPwtc@newkirk.com.
Where are the registration forms
this year?
Click on registration. You
may also click on "Registration" in the top banner of this Web
site. If you are a returning team, your Captain from last year will receive

Club has produced the Challenge. HMRRC is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization
dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyles through running and walking
for sport and fitness.
Who
is the “Charity of Choice”?
The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of
Albany is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those from
disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive,
responsible, and caring citizens.
In every community, young people are left to find their
own recreation and companionship on the streets. An increasing number
of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people
need to know that someone cares about them.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Albany offers that and more.
Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys
and girls from age 5 to 20 by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness,
belonging and influence.
The Boys & Girls Club provides a safe place to
learn and grow as well as ongoing relationships with caring adult professionals,
life-enhancing programs, character development experiences, opportunity,
and hope.
All programs are designed to maximize opportunities for
young people to acquire four (4) basic ‘senses’ that are directly
related to positive self-esteem and character building:
- A sense of competence — by aquiring new skills,
as well as pride and confidence in those new skills and achievements
- A sense of usefulness — through helping others,
the club, and the community
- A sense of belonging — feeling welcome, accepted,
and secure at the club
- A sense of power and influence — knowing that
their opinions are heard and valued
This strategy is incorporated into every interaction we
have with young people.
